This week we have another collection with a pop of color. The daughter’s shirt is the most prominent piece above, but we pulled it together by adding a beaded necklace to the mother’s dress of the similar color. The necklace lays against a casual dress of neutral color and keeps the daughter’s top from looking out of place. Remember that a family should always look like they are attending the same event together. The men are both in neutral blue tones that complement the pop of oranges.
Our eyes naturally look and crave complementary colors. If we see blue, we want to see orange too. That’s why these colors work well together and are sure to look great in a portrait. Just be mindful of your family’s skin and hair tones too. Bright oranges look great are medium to darker skin tones, but can often over power fair skin tones. Just use your best judgement.
