I know it’s been a few days since the all-you-can-eat-and-eat-you-will turkey fest but I had to get some pictures posted. Jacob and I headed to my Aunt’s house in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Amy had to work because apparently they don’t close the hospital for Thanksgiving. We all really missed her. We left Wednesday night so Jacob would sleep in the car and that plan actually worked out pretty well. We were up bright and early Thanksgiving morning and spent the day with my Aunt and Uncle, my mom, my brother and his wife, and some close family friends. I have been trying to get back in shape and did a good job of not stuffing my face. After a long day of eating, going to the beach, and playing some Rummikub, Jacob and I headed home. Aunt Rose, thanks for hosting another great Thanksgiving.
I think this picture is pretty self explanatory.
My brother and I headed to the beach to get some surfing shots, but the ocean wasn’t cooperating.
Jacob has been giving his uncle this look for almost 8 months now!
My nephew was trying to sabatoge us during the Rummikub game.
Okay, my sister-in-law will kill me for posting this shot, but when you get caught stuffing your whole arm into a can of Pringles for a few chips you are just flashing a sign that says “Take a picture of me!”
Asher and I headed outside for a few skateboarding lessons. I did not teach him to put his knee pads on upside down. I’ll blame his dad for that one. By the way, those are Independent Trucks on his board which were mine 18 years ago! They have seen some use.
If you look closely you can see smoke coming out of everyone’s ears.
I think Jacob’s bib sums up the holidays. “Are these people really my relatives?”
